HOW TO ROOT AN ANDROID PHONE TO BLACKBERRY

Since browsing with the android device is not so affordable because of the rate at which it consumes data and worst still, the available data plans for the android device are not so price-friendly in Nigeria; android phone users readily look for alternatives for browsing the Internet on their android devices.

Here, we will reveal a permanent solution for all android devices to using Glo BIS and other networks BIS subscription for browsing the Internet.

About a year ago, we were able to use Blackberry APN which is blackberry.net to running Blackberry BIS subscriptions on any device that has Internet facility. This cheat worked on all networks for about a year before it was eventually blocked, but this time around, this cheat may work forever.

Since most network providers including Glo use mobile phone IMEI to determine the type of phone you use, we have found a way to change your android device IMEI to a Blackberry device IMEI.

By changing your android device IMEI to a Blackberry device IMEI, you will be able to use services designed for Blackberry including the BIS on your android devices. You just have to change your android device APN to blackberry.net (for all networks) and begin enjoying unlimited downloads on your android devices.

Changing Your Android Device IMEI to A Blackberry Device IMEI
This trick will disguise or clone your android device as Blackberry device, therefore, you might want to backup your android device before you proceed or save your original IMEI in case you wish to revert to your original IMEI in the future.

There are two methods for which you can use to change your android device IMEI to a Blackberry device IMEI and they are;

1- ADB/Fastboot Method. (Requires S-off or Unlocked Bootloader)
2- Terminal Method. (Requires Android Root)
1- ADB/Fastboot Method:
If your android device has S-off or Unlocked bootloader, this is the best method that works for all android devices. The guides to follow using this method are given below;

1- Install the android drivers for your particular android device on the PC and setup ADB Tools on the PC. Click here for info on setting up the ADB Tools.

2- Boot your android device to fastboot/bootloader mode by using the key conbinations or via Terminal/Command Prompt.
HTC Users can use this key combinations: Put off the phone then, Press the Power+Volume Down Buttons together until the phone boots to hboot.

To boot to bootloader via Terminal/Command Prompt; connect your android device to the PC, wait few seconds for the PC to install all the drivers then; open command prompt/Terminal and type these command lines;
cd c:/your-adb-folder-name
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
***After each command line above, hit the enter button on the PC. To make this method work, you must enable USB Debugging on the phone.

3- Once the phone is on the bootloader screen, the PC should install another drivers. Make sure USB is seen on the phone bootloader screen. Confirm the bootloader mode by typing this line of code on the Command Prompt/terminal;
fastboot devices
Your android device Serial Number should be displayed on the Terminal/Command Prompt window.

4- Get any valid Blackberry Device IMEI number. You can use your friends Blackberry device IMEI number or generate another one using this tool.

5- Now, change your android device IMEI Number to the Blackberry device IMEI by typing the following code on Terminal/Command Prompt;
fastboot getvar imei
fastboot oem writeimei the-blackberry-imei
fastboot getvar imei

***The first IMEI displayed on the line above is your original IMEI. And the last IMEI displayed is the Blackberry IMEI you changed to.

The Terminal Method:
This method of changing android device IMEI to a Blackberry device IMEI can only be done on a rooted android device and Terminal Emmulator nust be installed on the phone. You can download Terminal Emulator from the Play Store.

To begin; Single SIM Device
1- Open Terminal Emulator on the phone.
2- Type SU and hit enter -this allows you to gain root access.
3- Type this command line in terminal: echo 'AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_NUMBER" '>/dev/pttycmd1 or echo AT+EGMR=1*7*IMEI_1>/dev/pttycmd1

If your phone is a Dual SIM android device, use this command line;
echo 'AT+EGMR=1,10,"IMEI_NUMBER" '>/dev/pttycmd1 then; hit the enter button.

4- Wait for the exploit to complete then, reboot your phone.

NOTICE:
***This exploit works for all android devices including the MTK Androids and Nomandi (Nokia Androids).
***If at first your data service signal fluctuates, simply off and on the phone, run BBM at the first startup and then; the signal should become stable.

This Exploit Works for Which Networks?
This exploit has been tested and verified on the following networks;
1- Glo (Perfectly)
2- MTN (must first subscribe using a Blackberry device before you transfer the SIM to your android device)
3- Airtel (Perfectly)
4- Etisalat (Not yet confirmed)

How to encrypt your external drives (Locking your flash drives)

How to encrypt your external drives (Locking your flash drives)

imageA lot of us that are into computer security are always meticulous about the security of our data. We provide passwords on our PC. Some of us go to the extent of creating BIOS password, syskey, and then the windows login password. Some with extra paranoia will even use softwares like folder lock or PGP to encrypt their files and folders. This is really good and I am also a big fan of security because I implement it a lot but when I become the attacker, I hate security. I realized that all these accounting bank managers that are so careful with their data and some other individuals also will just provide all these security on their computers. Forgetting the fact that some of those information are in their flash drives, they just drop their flash drives carelessly sometimes. Sometimes it may not be a careless drop, you may get a physical attack and your flash drive will be stolen from you. Here I will show you a way to provide complete security to the data on your flash drives and other external drives. You do not need to download any software. Note: This tutorial is for windows users only Follow these steps to encrypt your drive: 1. Plug in the external drive into the USB port 2. Go to my computer and right- click the drive to be encrypted as shown below Now click "Turn on Bitlocker" 3. You will see something like this Click the first check button and provide the password you want for your drive then click next 4. Our computers know we are likely to forget some things so they provide us with backup option. Save a recovery file and if suits you to print it then do that and proceed Now there is a big question for you. Are you ready to encrypt? If you're with me on this then continue Grab a snack and chill for the encryption to be over. And that's it. The encryption is over To test this, you can unplug your drive and plug again. Now you have to type your password. I hope this post helps you security fanatics

Speed your browser by changing your DNS

Speed your browser by changing your DNS

image Most people use the default DNS settings provided by their ISP, and while they are usually sufficient for most purposes, there are plenty of free options out there, like OpenDNS and Google DNS. Namebench is a free app that checks to see whether your current settings are optimized and, if not, which free option is best for you. Here's how to use it: Download and install Namebench. DOWNLOAD HERE Fire it up and choose your settings. Keep the top two boxes checked. If you're concerned about network censorship, check the third box, and if you want to help the developers, check the last box. You can tweak the rest if you're outside U.S. or want to experiment with different browsers. Click Start Benchmark and wait while Namebench runs its tests. It should take several minutes. A browser tab should pop open when Namebench is done and give you a list of DNS servers and how much faster they are than the one you're currently using, unless yours are already the fastest possible. Namebench does not change your settings, but it's generally pretty easy to do it yourself. Check with the instructions you got from your ISP to set up your modem and/or router and just substitute the DNS addresses you received from Namebench for the addresses given by your ISP. It's best to do this with your router, as it will assign that DNS address for all the devices attached to it. That's it! This can dramatically improve your browsing speed, and it's fairly easy to work through.

Teenager abducts, rapes two-year-old girl April 28, 2015 : Afeez Hanafi

A two-year-old toddler, Precious (pseudonym) has been raped by one Azeez Ganiyu, after she was abducted from her residence on Giwa Street, Ijora Badia, Lagos State.
The incident happened on April 16 at about 10am after the victim’s mother left her in a room with a neighbour to buy food at a nearby shop.
Our correspondent gathered that 16-year-old Ganiyu abducted the girl when she walked outside to play with other children.
He reportedly took her to an uncompleted building, said to be a few kilometers away from the victim parents’ house, and raped her.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Precious’ mother and neighbours were thrown into confusion when they did not see the girl in the surroundings.
After minutes of fruitless search, it was learnt that the mother suddenly heard a baby screaming and traced the voice to the uncompleted building, where she allegedly met Ganiyu committing the crime.
Precious was said to have been taken to a hospital where it was medically confirmed that she had been raped.
Our correspondent learnt that the suspect, who also resides in the community, was later arrested by the police at the Ijora Badia Police Division.
The police subsequently arraigned Ganiyu before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court on one count of rape.
The charge read, “That you, Azeez Abdulganiyu (16), on April 16, 2015, at about 10am on Giwa Street, Ijora Badia, Lagos in the Apapa Magisterial District, did unlawfully have carnal knowledge of a two-year-old girl.”
The police prosecutor, Inspector Olusoji Ojaokomo, told the court that the offence contravened provisions of Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty before the presiding magistrate, Mr. P.A. Adekomaya.
The magistrate thus ordered that the defendant’s case file be transferred to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions for legal advice.
Adekomaya thereafter granted the defendant bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The magistrate ordered that the sureties must be gainfully employed and must show evidence of tax payment to the court.
The case was adjourned till May 5, 2015.

Ondo Deputy Gov Olanusi impeached, replaced with Oluboyo

By Dayo Johnson
Akure—ONDO State deputy governor, Alhaji Ali Olanusi, was yesterday impeached by the House of Assembly just as a serving Commissioner, Alhaji Olugbenga Lasisi Oluboyo, was nominated and sworn-in as his replacement.
The new deputy governor hails from Ikare, Akoko North East and was the Agriculture Commissioner before his elevation.
Twenty two lawmakers at plenary  supported the impeachment of the deputy governor after the seven-man probe panel inaugurated by the Chief Judge of the state submitted its report to the House.
inauguration: From left: Chief Judge of Ondo State, Hon Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi; Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko; new Deputy Governor, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo and his wife, Alhaja Fatimat, after the inauguration of the new deputy governor, at the Governor's Office, in Akure, yesterday.
inauguration: From left: Chief Judge of Ondo State, Hon Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi; Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko; new Deputy Governor, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo and his wife, Alhaja Fatimat, after the inauguration of the new deputy governor, at the Governor’s Office, in Akure, yesterday.
Two other members who have defected to the opposition All Progressives Party, APC, Hon Gbenga Edema, representing Ilaje 1 and Hon Fola Vincent Ose, were absent at the plenary.
In a swift reaction, the state APC Chairman, Hon Isaac Kekemeke, described the impeachment as a show of shame, adding that the party would challenge the lawfulness of the action in court.
Earlier, the seven-member probe panel headed by Mr Olatunji Stanley Adeniyan, while presenting its report, said that the deputy governor was culpable in all the seven allegations of gross misconduct levelled against him.
Adeniyan declared: “Having found all the seven allegations  established against Alhaji Ali Olanusi, the deputy governor of Ondo State, and placing reliance on the meaning of gross misconduct as defined in section 188 (11) of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, as amended, we hereby find that the allegation of gross misconduct has been proved against Alhaji Ali Olanusi, the holder of the office of the deputy governor of Ondo State of Nigeria.”
Following the submission of the report, the Majority Leader of the House, Hon Ifedayo Akinsoyinu, from Ondo West, moved the motion for the consideration of the report and it was seconded by Hon Olatunji Dairo from Owo 11.
After considering the report and relying on the conclusion of the probe panel that  the deputy governor was culpable, Hon Akinsoyinu moved the motion for his impeachment and was seconded by Hon Aladetan Oyebo from Ilaje 11.
Aladetan said, based on the recommendation of the probe panel that indicted the deputy governor; “ I am seconding the motion that he be impeached and removed from office forever.”
The Speaker, Rt Hon Jumoke Akindele, therefore, called for a voice vote and the 22 lawmakers present supported the impeachment of the deputy governor.
Rt Hon Akindele ruled that since the deputy governor had been found culpable of all the seven allegations of gross misconduct levelled against him, he stood impeached and removed from office.
She said that the lawmakers had spoken with one voice which was beyond  2/3 majority. She added that 22 members supported Olanusi’s impeachment.
The Speaker directed that all government property in the custody of the deputy governor be returned with immediate effect to the Permanent Secretary in the office of the deputy governor.
“The Permanent Secretary in the deputy governor’s office is empowered to retrieve all the property by all lawful means,” he said.
The House reconvened some hours later to consider a letter from the state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, on the nomination of a replacement for the impeached deputy governor to avoid a vacum.
After the letter was read by the Clerk of the House, the Speaker directed the House Committee on  Selection to interface with the nominee.
The committee, led by the Deputy Speaker, Hon Emiola Dare, later met with the nominee for about 45 minutes and reported to the plenary that the nominee was fit mentally and physically  to occupy the position.
Emiola added that Oluboyo was academically qualified and should be confirmed by the Assembly.
The speaker said that following the recommendation of the selection Committee the nominee is hereby  confirmed and ratified as the deputy governor of the state after being properly and appropriately screened.
Speaking while appearing before the House, Oluboyo promised to give his total and unalloyed loyalty to the governor adding that he would not disappoint the people of the state for the confidence reposed in him.

‘Missing’ $20bn oil money: I have nothing to hide, Jonathan tells Buhari April 28, 2015 : Olalekan Adetayo

President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday said his administration had nothing to hide in respect of the claim by a former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor,   Lamido Sanusi, that   $20bn oil money was not remitted to the Federation Account by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
To prove this, he said he had directed that the full report by PriceWaterHouse which was commissioned to carry out a detailed investigation into the activities of the NNPC be made public immediately.
Jonathan, in a statement in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity,   Reuben Abati,   also described   the allegation by the All Progressives Congress that his officials were embarking on last minute illegal actions as “unfortunate and uncharitable.”
Buhari had while receiving an APC delegation from Adamawa State on Sunday, expressed surprise that instead of probing the allegation by Sanusi ,who is now the Emir of Kano, the Jonathan-led Peoples Democratic Party administration chose to fire him.
He stated that since Sanusi’s claim was documented, his administration would take a look at it after the May 29 handover date.
Buhari said, “On the issue of corruption, I heard that some people have started returning money. I will not believe it until I see for myself.
“You all remember what the Emir of Kano talked about when he was the governor of the CBN. He said $20bn, not N20bn, was unaccounted for; they said it was a lie. Instead of investigating it, they sacked him. And God in his infinite mercy made him the Emir of Kano. In any case, that is what he wanted. And since this was documented, our administration will take a look at it.”
Sanusi had written a letter to Jonathan that $49bn was not remitted to the Federation Account by the NNPC.
But following the controversy which the letter generated, a committee was set up to reconcile the account.
Sanusi later recanted and said the unremitted fund was $12bn. He later changed the figure to $20bn.
But Abati, in his   statement, said Jonathan was concerned by the continuing suggestions that his administration had anything to hide on the allegation.
The statement read in part, “President Jonathan is also deeply concerned by the continuing suggestions that his administration still has anything to hide about the unproven allegation that about $20bn is unaccounted for by the NNPC during his tenure.
“To lay the matter to rest, President Jonathan in line with Section 7(2) of the NNPC Act, has directed that the full report of the PWC Forensic Audit of the NNPC accounts be released immediately to the public so that all Nigerians will be properly informed on the matter.”
When journalists asked Abati why Jonathan had to wait   until Buhari said he would look into Sanusi’s allegation before making the audit report public, he said he did not know the circumstances in which the President gave the directive.
He said all he knew was that the issue had been in the public domain for a long time and that there was the need to lay it to rest.
Abati gave assurance that Jonathan would continue to do his best to ensure a smooth handover to the President-elect but regretted what he called the unfairness and combative frame of mind reflected in a recent   statement by the APC’s spokesman, Lai Mohammed.
He said that as the APC’s spokesman threatened in his statement, the incoming administration would be perfectly within its rights to review all actions of the present government as it might deem fit.
Abati added that   there was nothing wrong with that because the Jonathan government also reviewed the actions of previous governments on assumption of office with resultant benefits for policy and project implementation.
Abati’s statement explained, “We have noted with concern, the allegation by the spokesman for the APC, Alhaji Mohammed, that officials of the Federal Government are engaged in ‘last-minute looting of the nation’s resources, rushed privatisation of key institutions and hurried recruitment into the public service’.
“We also consider as most unfortunate and uncharitable, the suggestion by Alhaji Mohammed that the Jonathan administration is trying to “tie the hands” of the incoming government merely by continuing to discharge its constitutional responsibilities until the end of its tenure.
“The Jonathan administration which continues to do its best to ensure a smooth and peaceful handover of power to the President-elect deeply regrets the unfairness and combative frame of mind reflected in Alhaji Mohammed’s statement.
“President Jonathan has done his best in the past five years to discharge his constitutional responsibilities for good governance and effective leadership of the nation.
“Without any prejudice whatsoever to the freedom of the incoming administration to do as it pleases, within the confines of extant laws when it assumes office, the Jonathan Administration will continue to discharge its responsibility to govern until May 29, 2015.
“In continuing to fulfil the obligations of his office however, President Jonathan has not, and will never condone any form of unscrupulous conduct on the part of state officials.
“President Jonathan will also never authorise any attempt to create any problems for the incoming administration as the APC spokesperson, who ought to know that the outcome of the March 28 presidential election does not imply a cessation of governance, unjustly alleges.
“As Alhaji Mohammed threatened in his statement, the incoming administration will be perfectly within its rights to review all actions of the present government as it may deem fit.
“We see nothing wrong with that. After all, the present administration reviewed the actions of previous governments on assumption of office with resultant benefits for policy and project implementation.”

Facebook rolls out video calls on Messenger in Nigeria, Norway, Oman, US & others

Facebook on Monday began rolling out video calling on its Messenger mobile application, enabling face-to-face conversations among users of the app around the world.
With the new feature, users can add video to calls to another person with the same application.
“You can quickly start a video call from any conversation with just one tap,” Facebook said in a statement.
“If you’re messaging with someone and realize that words just aren’t enough, you can simply choose the video icon in the top right corner of the screen and start a video call right from within an existing Messenger conversation.”
Similar services are offered by Microsoft’s Skype, Google Hangouts and Apple’s FaceTime.
Facebook last year broke off Messenger from the main Facebook application for mobile users, creating a separate platform which now has some 600 million users.
The world’s biggest social network also opened up Messenger to outside developers as part of its strategy to create a “family” of apps that also includes Instagram and WhatsApp.
Free calling has been available for two years to users of Messenger, although people may be required to pay for data used during the connections.
“Video calling will expand Messenger’s real-time communication features, enabling the more than 600 million people who use Messenger every month to reach others wherever they are, from anywhere,” the statement said. “It’s fast, reliable and high quality.”
Video calling in Messenger is launching for people using Apple or and Android devices in Belgium, Britain, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Laos, Lithuania, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, the US and Uruguay and will hit more countries over the coming months.
Facebook has offered few hints on how it will monetize Messenger, but recently unveiled a system of peer-to-peer payments which could be adapted as an e-commerce platform.
Another Messenger allowed users to communicate with online merchants, essentially turning formerly impersonal Internet shopping into ongoing text message conversations.

Boko Haram Kills 21 In Yobe State by LittleSMARTEX(m): 5:35pm

Suspected Boko Haram gunmen shot dead 21 people in Yobe state who were trying to return home to recover abandoned food supplies, a local official and a victim’s relative said Monday. “The men, 21 of them, were stopped at Bultaram (village) by gunmen we believe are Boko Haram who shot them dead,” said Baba Nuhu, an official with the Gujba local government.

Nuhu and Haruna Maram, the brother of one of the victims, spoke to newsmen from Yobe’s capital Damaturu, where many Gujba residents have fled to seek refuge from Boko Haram violence.

“My brother and 20 others wanted to bring back their grains to augment ‎their lean food supplies to feed their families,” Maram said.
“Unfortunately, they were killed by (the) same Boko Haram we ran away from.” Gujba is one of a handful of districts in Yobe that Boko Haram captured during a sweeping offensive last year. The area has been hit by waves of attacks through the six-year Islamist uprising, including a massacre at an agricultural college in 2013 that targeted students sleeping their dormitories.

The military has claimed a series of successes against Boko Haram in an operation launched in February with neighbouring Chad, Cameroon and Niger. Scores of towns previously under rebel control have reportedly been liberated.

Nigeria’s military and outgoing president Goodluck Jonathan have encouraged those displaced by the uprising to return home, declaring much of the northeast safe for resettlement.

But community leaders in the embattled region have warned civilians are still at risk of Islamist attacks, especially those returning to remote areas like Gujba where the military’s deployment has typically been thin. Security experts have cautioned that the Islamists are far from defeated and are still capable of launching hit-and-run attacks.

On boundary issues, Kuye said the government successfully resolved the boundary and land conflicts involving the Onilogbo of Ilogbo-Eremi, Phillip family and Bambgose Idolabumo Ruling House of Ilogbo-Eremi in Badary area.
He said the government had also received the report of the committee set up to look into the remote and immediate causes of the civil disturbances between two in Ijede Local Council Development Area.
“The findings and recommendations had been analysed. The Ministry had communicated directives to all the MDAs mentioned in the recommendation such that amicable solution could be fast tracked as this will engender harmonious existence between the two communities” he said. (NAN)

Jonathan To Buhari, I Am Ready For Probe. by delonz(m): 7:56pm

President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday said he is ready for any probe of activities under his watch when he leaves office on May 29.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the President said that he is not afraid of any investigation after leaving office.

He noted that investigations will not be out of place since Jonathan’s administration also reviewed the actions of previous governments on assumption of office.

“As Alhaji Mohammed threatened in his statement, the incoming administration will be perfectly within its rights to review all actions of the present government as it may deem fit.
“We see nothing wrong with that. After all, the present administration reviewed the actions of previous governments on assumption of office with resultant benefits for policy and project implementation,” he said.

He also disclosed that President Jonathan has ordered the immediate release of the full report of PriceWater Cooper’s investigations into the alleged unremitted $20 billion to the Federation account by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

He said: “President Jonathan is also deeply concerned by the continuing suggestions that his administration still has something to hide about the unproven allegation that about $20 billion is unaccounted for by the NNPC during his tenure.

“To lay the matter to rest, President Jonathan in line with Section 7(2) of the NNPC Act, has directed that the full report of the PWC Forensic Audit of the NNPC accounts be released immediately to the public so that all Nigerians will be properly informed on the matter.

Ladies, See The Things You Can Do To Keep Your Man

This is an interesting piece written by a lady to help other ladies learn and avoid the looming dangers.
There are certain things that push guys away from you and sometimes these turn-offs go both ways. Frankly some ladies find it hard to keep a man because of some things they do. Read details below:
Drama: This is definitely one of the top things that push men away. Women tend to be involved in more drama than men. It’s true that your boyfriend will be there to listen to you when you’re having issues, but being catty won’t highlight your best qualities. And being overly dramatic about some petty issue, such as why he didn’t call you first, will make him question the relationship. If you are a responsible lady or want to be one, try not to make a huge deal of something that can be easily fixed.
Possessiveness: Do you constantly check up on your boyfriend? If so, you might want to back off a little bit. When guys receive too many “Where are you?” texts, they tend to get annoyed. They don’t want to be in a relationship with their mom. You might think this is just you caring about him, but to him, it will feel like you don’t trust him, or worse, like you are trying to control him.
Playing dumb: Unfortunately, we ladies have all probably done this at some time or other. Truth is that playing dumb will lead you down the wrong path. He might eventually feel like you’re taking advantage of him or that you just aren’t capable of taking care of yourself, let alone you and the kid or kids when they start coming. Good guys believe a smart girl is much more worth keeping at home.
Clingy: A guy has got to have his own space! How much space a guy needs will vary. Some guys think that going out more then twice a month together is clingy, while others think that you never leaving his side is clingy. As a lady, make sure to observe your own man to figure out where he lies on the spectrum! When you give him what he wants, he will really appreciate your understanding and thoughtfulness – and he will try to make the time you do spend together that much more worthwhile.
Living in the past: It’s okay to share your past once you get comfortable with your new guy. Just don’t dwell on it. Not yours, not his, not “ours.” Don’t compare him to a fling that you had before, a sugar daddy or ex-boyfriend. And don’t compare yourself to anyone in his past – and definitely don’t dwell on a past disagreement that you two had. If you want him in your future, plan today with him.
Dishonesty: We hate being lied to. So why do we do it to a man we love? It doesn’t protect a relationship; in fact, it might destroy it. Communication is key in a relationship, so if you say things that you don’t mean, what’s the point? Try to express yourself and allow your man point out things that he doesn’t understand. Always make an attempt to talk things out. Believe me, it works wonders!
Remember that time you told him you loved that his shirt, even though really, you can’t stand it? Well, what are you going to do if he starts wearing it all the time to please you? That is it, you have all the work to do if you want to enjoy your man and have him spend his money you wholeheartedly.
Power struggle: I always cringe when I hear people joking about who wears the pants in a relationship. There’s really no need to do that. Learn to be humble and work well with your man. Your friends are loyal to their own men at home, no matter what they tell you. So don’t be obsessive over who has more power. Love is what you should ask for from your man, not his authority. You can!

John Fashanu And Wife Abigail In Divorce Mess by lalasticlala(m): 9:40am

John Fashanu says wife tried to KILL him after 'walking in on raunchy sex party'

The former Gladiators host is now at the centre of a bitter divorce battle with Abigail – and also insists SHE cheated on him with a woman

Soccer legend John Fashanu has accused his wife of trying to kill him – after she allegedly found him bedding two women at the same time.

The retired former Wimbledon and England striker said estranged Abigail Onyekwelu went for him with a knife during a furious row at their home.

Fashanu, also a former Gladiators host, is now at the centre of a bitter divorce battle with Abigail – and insists SHE cheated on him with a woman.

She denies his claims and the astonishing battle – which includes the accusation that he bedded their maid – is to be played out in the high court in Abuja, Nigeria.

Furious Abigail, 48, said last night: “Good riddance to bad rubbish! I’ve left him and washed my hands.”

But Fashanu, 52 – dubbed Fash the Bash for his hardman reputation in Wimbledon’s famous “Crazy Gang” – hit back with an extraordinary series of allegations.

He said he had to call in police to protect him from knife-wielding Abigail and was devastated to find her in bed with another woman.

He also alleged that she stole thousands of pounds in cash from their marital home.

Speaking exclusively to the Sunday People the star – who now presents the Nigerian version of TV’s Deal or No Deal – said: “She attempted to use knives on me. It was terrifying.

“My life was at stake, there’s no two ways about that.

“Even if you did think I was sleeping with the maid, or even if you thought I was sleeping with Miss Nigeria, don’t kill me! Just leave me and go. The violence was just too much.”

6ft 2in Fashanu added: “My life was at risk and I didn’t want it to happen again. That’s why I filed for divorce.”

He denied his wife’s claim to have discovered him in bed with two other women – one of them their maid.

“I’ve been very fortunate to date some of the most beautiful women in the world,” Fash insisted. “I certainly don’t have to sleep with my cleaner!

“This is me, John Fashanu, you’re talking to. It’s absolute nonsense. If she wants to make up that story, at least let her say it’s Beyoncé or someone.

“Don’t say it’s my cleaner, that’s just b******s. It’s not true at all.

“The truth is she’s been cheating on me with a woman she calls her spiritual partner.

“I caught them in the bed many times. That was why I kicked her out of my house.”

Abigail is the mother of former beauty queen Adaeze Yobo. Fashanu met her in 2009. They married two years later but the relationship hit the skids last year.

Father-of-five Fashanu claimed police are now investigating an attack on him. He also alleged that officers are trying to retrieve missing cash from Abigail.

He said: “I’m the one who is filing for divorce. I couldn’t stand her and, to be honest, she probably couldn’t stand me. With Abigail it was just money, money, money.

“I’ve never seen a woman who has such an appetite for money. Nearly one million Nigerian naira (around £3,300) was stolen from my house in Abuja. There are police reports you can see.

“There were so many assaults, it was just getting too much. It was absolutely ridiculous. She attacked me on multiple occasions. The whole situation was far too hot for me. There are some wonderful, wonderful women. It’s just that I met the wrong one.”

Glamorous socialite Abigail, a qualified lawyer and mother-in-law to former Nigerian football captain Joseph Yobo, paints a totally different picture of the marriage breakdown.

The mother of four said: “John’s saying I tried to kill him? Oh my God, this is so funny. I don’t quite understand all this.

“How can I kill him? How can somebody like me kill this huge man who is an expert in karate. I don’t understand how I can kill him.”

Told that he had accused her of going to his house armed with knives before trying to attack him, Abigail retorted: “Oh my God, that is ridiculous.”

She also rejected Fashanu’s claim that he threw her out of his house
after finding her in bed with another woman.

Abigail said: “He didn’t kick me out of his house. We were living in my house. He couldn’t have kicked me out of my own house – I kicked him out.”
Of the woman concerned, she insisted: “She is a good friend to me. She has a husband and children. It is ridiculous. She was living with me for a while to get back on her feet.”

Abigail went on: “I caught him in bed with two women, the housemaid and one other woman. There were two women, it was awful.

“They were on the bed. They were undressed. I said to them, ‘Who are you and what’s going on here?’

“He told me that he doesn’t know what he’s doing and I should pray for him. He knows how to manipulate people, that’s one thing he is good at.

“I last saw him in April last year. I didn’t know he’d filed for divorce. He has been calling people asking them to plead with me to get back with him.

“I would have filed for divorce myself but I haven’t because I’ve been very busy. And he asked me not to because he did not want to make it known that we had separated.

“So I went on my way and I left him but I didn’t tell anybody anything.

“I’ve told him, ‘I don’t want you any more, I have forgiven you, I’m a Christian. But I don’t want you any more, just leave me alone.’

I don’t take him seriously. I don’t have time for him. If I should be angry at anyone, I should be angry at myself for descending so low as to enter into marriage with such a person.”

Responding to claims she stole money from Fashanu, Abigail added: “Anybody can say anything – but how can I go to his house and steal from him in his house?

“I wasn’t living there with him. He’s sick and he needs help.”

Fashanu was born in London to a Guyanan nurse, Pearl, and Nigerian barrister, Patrick. After they split up he had a spell in a Barnado’s home and was fostered in Norfolk.

His football career included spells with Norwich City, Lincoln City, Crystal Palace, Millwall and Aston Villa.

He joined Wimbledon in 1986 and famously won the FA Cup in 1988 in a team including Vinnie Jones and Lawrie Sanchez.

Fashanu scored more than 100 goals during his 17-year career, which also included two appearances for England.

After retiring from football he hosted the hit 1990s TV show Gladiators for seven years alongside Ulrika Jonsson.

In 2003 he starred as a contestant in the ITV reality show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

His first marriage, to Ivory Coast model Melissa Kassa-Mapsi, ended in divorce in 2004. Now Fashanu is a famous and respected figure in Africa.

He has carried out extensive charity work and is understood to have been a friend of Nelson Mandela.

He is a UN Ambassador for Nigeria, a former Unicef goodwill ambassador for 53 African countries and a former board member of the Nigeria Football Association.

He also worked to develop professional football across Africa and was Nigeria’s Ambassador for Sport and Tourism. Fashanu now presents the Deal or No Deal Nigeria game show on The Africa Channel and is a successful businessman with interests in London and Abuja.

But the star suffered heartbreak when his brother Justin, who was Britain’s first openly gay professional footballer, hanged himself in London in 1988.

After his brother’s suicide, Fashanu expressed remorse for disowning him because of his homosexuality.

But he later claimed he did not believe Justin was genuinely gay.

Wife Abigail claims he has fathered six children by three different women.

Meanwhile he added: “I filed the divorce petition in September and it’s listed for mention on the 19th of next month at the court in Abuja. We’re trying to move it through.”

7 Tips For Selecting Your Domain Name by SpringWebHost: 12:07pm On Apr 24

Thinking up a great domain name is easy. Of course, with the nearly 275 million existing domain names, finding one that hasn’t already been taken … well, that’s a lot harder. But good domain names are still out there. It just takes a little time and effort to find the right one.

In this first half of a two part article on finding your domain name, we’ll cover eight basic tips for selecting your perfect (or reasonably close to perfect) domain name.

Stick With .com
Whenever possible, choose a .com extension. There’s nothing wrong with a .net, .org, or other top level domain. However, there’s a lot more right with a .com extension. When someone hears your domain name, if they forget the extension, they’re automatically going to try adding .com to the name when they get home. Take advantage of that tendency.

Make it Easy to Type

If your business name is hard to spell, you might try an easier to spell version of the name. For example, if Jayne Mansfield had a website, she might want to go with JaneMansfield.com instead of or, better yet, in addition to JayneMansfield.com. For your website, consider registering all alternate spellings of your domain name.

Make it Easy to Remember
[Nike Domain Name Just Do It] As W.C. Fields said, “It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.” Or how you’re known. A well known slogan or catch phrase might make a better domain name (or, again, an additional domain name) for your business. Even though they have plenty of brand name recognition, Nike registered JustDoIt.com in addition to their regular Nike.com domain name. Actor Michael J. Fox might be known as Mike to family and friends, but to the world he’s Michael J. Fox and, therefore, his domain is MichaelJFox.com.

Shorter is Better

As of 2013, all of the four letter domain names were gone. The three letter domains were taken over a decade before. But that’s no reason to use the full sixty-three characters available in your domain name. Stick to fewer than four words and under twenty characters if at all possible.

Check for Appropriateness
Read, re-read, and have friends read your website to make sure no hidden messages exist in the name. Imagine your surprise if your domain for exchanging information with experts, www.ExpertsExcchange.com, turned out to also promote very knowledgeable gender transformations: www.ExpertSexChange.com.

Don’t Use Texting Slang
While texting slang can definitely keep your domain name short - following the tip above - it makes for a confusing mess that’s hard to remember for most people.

Build Your Brand
The most important tip is to keep your brand in mind and continue to build it. With every advertisement someone reads, every web search someone performs, and every email you send, you’re building your brand with a custom domain name.

The Quick Takeaway
Finding a great domain name can be challenging but it can also be rewarding and a lot of fun. Follow these tips and you’ll be well on your way to your own great domain.

Another Buhari Supporter Begins Trek From Yola To Abuja

Hope this will not become a trend? A supporter of Buhari, identified as Abubakar Duduwale , has set for a walk from Yola in Adamawa to Abuja. He told newsmen in Yola on Saturday at the onset of the walk that the adventure was to express his joy over the emergence of Buhari as president-elect.
Duduwale, from Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa and Chamba by tribe, reportedly began the journey at Yola Gate on Yola-Numan highway at about 6:30 a.m.
He said he had wanted to start the journey a day after the Independent National Electoral Commission announced Buhari as a winner but somebody from Lagos pre-empted him.
“The reason why I am trekking from Yola to Abuja is to express my joy and solidarity with President -elect Muhammadu Buhari. I want to trek from Yola to Abuja to witness the inauguration ceremony of President elect, Duduwale said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Suleiman Hashimu (pictured above), a supporter of Buhari had earlier undertaken such walk from Lagos to Abuja which he concluded recently.(NAN)

Photos: Man Baths Ex-lover With Acid In Kogi state

25 year old Aladi Sule was attacked with acid by her ex-lover, Kazeem Abdullahi, a few weeks ago in Kogi state. According to the story told by Vanguard, Ladi and the man who attacked her had been lovers since secondary school. When she fell pregnant, the couple decided to live together but unfortunately the child died.
Then when they began to have problems, the man married someone else, prompting Ladi to leave the house. Then the man came begging but her family demanded that he marry her properly first before she moves back in with her.
While they were making wedding preparations, the man rented a house for Ladi, who also managed to get some money to start a fruits shop. Eventually, the man decided he no longer wanted to marry Ladi and asked her to pack out from the home he rented for her. When Ladi refused, he threatened to deal with her and destroy the ‘beauty’ sh was using to pose around town. Aladi didn’t take him serious. Then he showed how serious he was.
A few weeks ago, Kazeem came to her house in the middle of the night and attacked her with acid. Kazeem was arrested but released three days later after his family agreed to pay the medical bills for Aladi who is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, Kogi State.

African Countries Happy Over President Jonathan’s Defeat – Obasanjo

Former president, Olusegun obasanjo, on Thursday said countries across the african continent are happy over the outcome of the presidential election in Nigeria, which saw the defeat of incumbent president Goodluck jonathan.
Mr. obasanjo said his checks in a number of african countries suggested they were as happy over the result of the election as majority of Nigerians are.
He referred to president Goodluck jonathan as a moving train who was providentially stopped from collapsing Nigeria.
“I have visited six countries since the election, they are as happy about the results as we are in Nigeria. It is good not only for Nigeria, it is good for Africa and I believe it is good for the world.”
Mr. obasanjo, who led the african Union Observation Mission to the April 2015 General Election in Sudan, spoke on Thursday at a Washington DC event.
The former president described Nigeria as a country that obsessively plays “a dangerous game of moving close to the precipice”.
He said the country came close to disintegration in the run-up to the 2015 elections but switched swiftly to the path of redemption after the polls.
“I hope we will not fall over one of these days,” he said.
He said one month to the election, no one believed “we will have a peaceful election that is reasonably free and fair.”
Describing his role in the election as that of a person standing on the track of a moving train, the former president said during the countdown to the elections, he faced the option of “jumping off” the tracks or “be crushed” if the train did not providentially get “derailed and stop.”
He said he did not jump and was not crushed adding that “at every stage, there must be leaders imbued with sufficient courage and will to stand firm when you have to stand firm.”
He described the results of the elections as what Nigerians “deserve” though some Nigerians “did not want it”.
Mr. obasanjo was the featured speaker at the United States Institute for Peace (USIP) event titled What is Right with Africa: Reframing Africa’s Leadership Challenges.
He made these remarks in response to a question by Princeton Lyman, a former ambassador to Nigeria.
Mr. obasanjo observed that Nigeria’s tendency to flirt with near-death experiences stretches back to colonial times when it almost cost the country the chance of gaining political independence from Britain.
Recalling colonial-era disagreements over self-rule, the former president said at a stage, advocates of self-rule from the Eastern and Western Regions decided to “let the North go” since their leaders were reluctant to accept regional autonomy back then.
“But reason prevailed,” he said, “East and West got internal autonomy in 1957, North got same in 1959 and the whole country got independence in 1960.”
Listing the 1964 post-election violence in the south west and the 1966 coup d’etats which led to “pogrom and civil war” as other self-destructive phases in the country’s history, the former president remarked that Nigeria emerged from all of these as “one entity” in spite of contrarian speculations.
“Not only did we survive the civil war but, within nine years, somebody from the rebel side, as we called them, and somebody from the vandal side, as they called us, became president and vice-president of Nigeria. Not many countries achieve that,” he said.
president obasanjo described the 2015 election as “almost in the same category” as other near-death experiences in Nigeria’s history.
He said one month to the election, no one believed “we will have a peaceful election that is reasonably free and fair.”
“I think we are now building institutions that can withstand what we may see as danger to good governance in Africa. The election has moved Nigeria one very important step up in our democratic dispensation, process and practice.”

Peacemaker Stabbed To Death While Settling Fight Between His Neighbors by dre11(m): 9:44pm On Apr 24

A peacemaker, Mr Kunle Abiola, has been stabbed to death while trying to separate two men fighting at Ajegunle area of Lagos State. The suspected killer, identified as Chinonso, was arrested by policemen from Ajegunle Police Station. Chinonso told policemen that he did not kill Abiola intentionally. He attributed the Sunday incident to the handiwork of the devil. A police source said: “The two men were quarrelling over a minor issue which later degenerated into exchange of fisticuffs. “Abiola came and pleaded with Chinonso to stop fighting.
The two men fighting were Abiola’s neighbours. He pleaded with both men, but they refused to listen.” A witness, Ibrahim Adeoye, said that Abiola did not know that Chinonso would come after him. For reasons yet unknown, the suspect dashed into his apartment and stormed out with a kitchen knife. Adeoye said: “He stabbed Abiola in the jaw and chest. Some people alerted the police. Chinonso was arrested. Abiola was rushed to the General Hospital at Awo-di-ora at Ajegunle.
He, however, died on the way to the hospital. “The doctors confirmed him dead. When the police brought the corpse to the station, every one of us began to cry because the victim was a good man.” Adeoye said that Abiola was a carpenter who had his workshop very close to the Ajegunle Police Station, adding that he left a wife and a child.
A police sergeant at the station said: “We knew the carpenter. He used to work for us at the station. He was very nice and friendly. We had never heard that he quarrelled with anybody before.” We pity his family. As for the suspect, he should be prepared to face the full wrath of the law. He said the devil pushed him to perpetrate the act.”

Are you planning to create a blog soon? Do you manage a blog currently? Here are some basic tips on how to make a good blog.

1. Inspiring Blog Design
Your blog layout and colour combinations are the first things visitors notice when they land on your blog. And you as it is often said, 'the first impression matters'. You shouldn't drive away visitors that you have laboured to acquired through a shabby blog template or shouting colours. When customizing your blog design, remember it's about the visitors not you. If you don't have what it takes to edit your blog design, go online and search for beautifully styled blog themes which can be paid or hire a professional designer. You should try to avoid designs that would hamper your site SEO.

2. The Right Niche
It is good to have width but better to have depth. Over the years, blogger have realised that blogs with a defined theme and focus often do better than the general 'all purpose' ones. This is because Google gives more credibilty to them because they appear as authority blogs in their chosen niches.
However, not all niches are profitable. You should try to blend your passion with profitability while searching for a topic of discussion for your blog. Picking a topic you have scanty knowledge about many result in frustration that make many new bloggers quit as early as they start.

3. Regular Quality Content

The quality of the articles on your blog is its true value. Content and design are the main criteria used in judging whether a blog is good or bad. You should take your time to come up with useful articles so that visitors will find it necessary to subscribe to your future updates. Copying and publishing articles that people can get elsewhere won't take your blog anywhere. Aside quality, you should endeavour to publish regularly. If you can keep up rolling out quality posts regularly, your blog would soon hit the limelight.

4. Build Readers' Loyalty

To make your blog successful your writing style should connect with the audience. To achieve this, make sure your posts is directed at solving visitors problems. Study how established bloggers with lots of comments on their blog write. The way you conclude your posts should encourage readers to drop comments too. Creating a relationship with your audience is the surest way to build fans' loyalty so that can find it interesting to return to your blog over and over again. Set up social media profiles for your blog on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google+. This has an additional benefit of increasing blog traffic.

5. Stand Out
Dare to be different. To stand out from the millions of blogs out there, there should something unique about your blog. Most successful blogs are known for one thing or the other. For some, it may be the blog design, while others may stand out with their content. You should think up ways to make your blog different. Ask yourself, what will people say is specific to my blog?

Success in blogging takes time, months and even years. The main point is to enjoy what you do so that you don't get easily frustrated out.

If you want to make your blog stand out from the crowd and get that traffic you have always desired, ensure you have all these points in place.
