If you want to crop and rotate any of your uploaded image directly in WordPress area, then you can do it very simply. For this, first of all you will have to go to Media > Library. Now, click on the image that you wanna crop or rotate and then in the popup window click on Edit Image button just below the image.

As soon as you will click on this Edit Image button, you will see different options to edit your image such as Crop, Rotate Clockwise and Counter Clockwise, Flip Vertically and Horizontally.
If you wanna crop and resize the image, then just start cropping with the help of mouse pointer and after selecting the cropping area, click on the Crop icon to crop the picture.

After cropping the image, click on Save to save the cropped image. And similarly you can rotate the image in any direction by clicking on the buttons shown in above picture beside the Crop icon and then save the changes when you’re done.That”s all about cropping and rotating images directly in WordPress without the need of any external WordPress plugin.
